I bring to you yet another inspirational story! My friend’s wife, Mrs Meher Thomas, is walking 800 km in Singapore to raise funds in memory of her late father, Hirji Adenwalla, a compassionate doctor from Thrissur.
My friend says, “She is doing this as a tribute to her dad Dr Adenwalla, who during his life carried out over 17000 cleft lift operations. Smile train, for whom the donations are being raised, funds these types of restorative operations. Each operation costs about Rs 25,000 and this campaign aims to fund 100 procedures through the money raised”.
