Welcome to yet another thrilling adventure by CoK! We are organizing a fund-raising cycling event, Ride Positive, on the 11th April, 2021 for the benefit of the HIV/AIDS affected children of Krishnagiri. 

So if you are up for a thrilling cycling ride for a good cause, then this is your chance. Here’s how you raise money:

 

1. Register yourself as a rider

 

2. Spread the word

 

3. Get your ride sponsored: Min. Rs. 500 per KM  

 

4. All 51 KMs must be sponsored

 

5. Once done, you are good to go!

 

Ride positive is going to be a Supported Ride which will include support vehicles, well stuffed with hydration and energy drinks along with snacks. The ride will begin early morning at 6 am and is estimated to end at 9 am. 

After reaching the destination, the riders will be provided with breakfast. They will also be given a comprehensive tour of Namma Veedu. Post that, the bicycles will be packed into the support vehicles and by 10:30 the return journey to Bengaluru will begin. The drop vehicles will reach the drop point – Shalini Ground, Jayanagar by 12 noon.

Once the ride is complete, every rider will receive a Finisher’s Certificate by CoK. 

 

Itinerary

5:00 – Assemble at Shalini Ground, Jayanagar

5:15 – Leave for the start point- Anekal Check Post

6:00 – Cycling Towards Namma Veedu, Rayakotai 

9:00 – Breakfast at Namma Veedu

10:30 – Leave for Bengaluru

12:00 – Drop off at Shalini Ground, Jayanagar

 

For Hosur Cyclists:

Assemble at the start point at Anekal Check Post by 5:45 AM. After the event, the cyclists from Hosur will be dropped back to Anekal Check Post.

Terms and Conditions:

1- A rider is expected to complete 51 KM to be eligible for the finisher’s certificate

2- A rider is expected to get himself sponsored for each KM.

3- Sponsor yourself at Rs. 500/KM for 51 KMs.
